Placencia is a 16 Mile peninsula in Stann Creek District in Southern Belize. This beautiful peninsula boast a wonderful beach on the Caribbean Seaside and a magnificent lagoon on the Westside. Backdrops of the Maya Mountains on the mainland with stunning sunsets behind them. 

Once a small fishing village (Placencia Village) at the very southern tip of the peninsula, has now blossomed into an exciting tourist village. Ideal for the beach life and marina lovers as well as divers, snorkelers, casual and deep sea fishing. It is the best location in the country for sailors and those who love the Whale Sharks, Crocodiles and Manatees. It is truly a beautiful and unique peninsula. Nearby only 2 hours by boat are our neighboring countries ports of Guatemala - Porto Barrios & Honduras - Porto Cortez. So, there is never a boring moment on the sand this side.
